Reston Town Center is Reston’s downtown: an outdoor grid of shops, restaurants, offices and apartments built around Fountain Square and the Pavilion. It opened in 1990 between Library and Presidents streets, with the Mercury Fountain at its core, and added the open-air glass Pavilion in 1993 (Reston Town Center). Today it has more than 50 retailers, 35 restaurants and a multi-screen cinema, and the Silver Line has served it since 2022.
