Reston’s outdoor dining is thickest at Reston Station, beside the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station, where Founding Farmers, Davio’s and Big Buns all list patios. Reston Town Center adds &pizza on Library Street and Sixty Vines by the pavilion, and Lake Anne Brew House has a brick patio on Lake Anne Plaza. Gregorio’s and Silver Diner are in north Reston.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Reston census boundary (Reston is unincorporated, so it has no city limits), the same records that feed our local business directory. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 23, 2026, and kept only restaurants whose own site says it has a patio or outdoor seating. Many other restaurants put tables outside in good weather without saying so online; those are not listed. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. If you run one of these places and something is wrong, write to us.

The places

&pizza. A build-your-own pizza shop on Library Street at Reston Town Center. Its Reston page mentions patio seating.

Big Buns. A burger restaurant at Reston Station with an outdoor patio that welcomes pets. Customers get up to two hours of free garage parking with any purchase.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse. An Italian steakhouse at Reston Station that serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch in its dining room, patio and bar. Its Plaza Bar, which it calls Reston Row’s outdoor dining spot, has its own menu.

Founding Farmers Reston Station. A farmer-owned restaurant beside the Metro station that says it has outdoor seating with some heaters and umbrellas. Its patio tables can be reserved online, but heated tables are first come, first served.

Gregorio’s Trattoria. An Italian restaurant and pizzeria in North Point Village Center that lists outdoor seating and a bar among its amenities.

Lake Anne Brew House. A brewery on Lake Anne Plaza with an outside brick patio, where well-behaved pets are welcome. It serves locally made wood-fired pizzas and pretzels. Its site lists no Monday or Tuesday hours, and hours can change for events.

Silver Diner. A diner on Killingsworth Avenue, off Baron Cameron Avenue, that lists covered outdoor seating and opens at 7 a.m. every day.

Sixty Vines. A wine-focused restaurant next to the Reston Town Center pavilion with indoor and outdoor seating, wood-fired pizzas and weekend brunch.
