The last pool days

Reston Association pools. Some RA pools close in August because many lifeguards and pool staff are students going back to school. RA consolidates staff at select pools so several stay open through Labor Day weekend, and designated pools stay open into September. Check RA’s season schedule for which ones. The 2025 season ended Sunday, Sept. 21.

The Water Mine, Lake Fairfax Park, 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
